At the 12th Philippine EV Summit, DongFeng wow’d guests with their monster of a vehicle called the M Hero. The M-Hero features two distinct powertrain configurations, each optimized for performance and efficiency.

Electric Powertrain
This variant is powered by four electric motors, delivering a total system output of 1,088 PS (1,075 horsepower) and 1,400 Nm of torque. It is equipped with a 140 kWh lithium-ion battery, providing an estimated range of around 505 kilometers on a single charge. This setup ensures rapid acceleration and responsive handling.

Hybrid Powertrain
The hybrid variant combines three electric motors with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that functions as a generator. This configuration produces 816 PS (805 horsepower) and 1,050 Nm of torque. With a 66 kWh battery pack, this model achieves an impressive cruising range of approximately 800 kilometers, making it ideal for long-distance travel.
The four electric motors in the first variant optimize torque distribution for enhanced traction. In the hybrid model, the turbocharged engine not only boosts power but also extends range by generating electricity. Both configurations utilize advanced lithium-ion technology for improved energy efficiency and battery longevity.
