ACMobility, the mobility solutions arm of the Ayala Group, is committed to making electric vehicle (EV) travel in the Philippines easier and more sustainable. By the end of 2024, the company plans to install over 250 charging points in over 100 locations nationwide, enhancing the EV experience for Filipinos.
Starting December 12, 2024, ACMobility will implement a nominal fee of PHP 28.50 per kWh for AC charging and PHP 35 per kWh for DC charging in NCR. This move, approved by the Department of Energy, will ensure the continued reliability and expansion of the network. “Charging fees will allow us to reinvest in our infrastructure, providing a consistent and high-quality service for all users,” said Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, CEO of ACMobility.
ACMobility’s stations are equipped with advanced technology for fast, efficient charging, and users can easily locate stations, monitor their sessions, and make payments via the EVRO app. The introduction of charging fees also helps manage demand, allowing more EV owners to charge without long waits.
As the company grows, ACMobility is dedicated to building a nationwide network that supports the EV community and contributes to a greener future. “Each new station brings us closer to our goal of creating a sustainable, electric future for the Philippines,” said Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure.
ACMobility invites Filipinos to join the electric vehicle revolution, offering a seamless, eco-friendly way to travel while shaping a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
